Rimo is an organization that aims to develop and provide tools and services to support remote work and side jobs, with the theme of "Working for the Future."
The way we work, such as working hours, location, and evaluation, which we consider normal now, is based on practices that were established after World War II. However, they have a shallow history of only one century and can also be seen as outdated in a time without the internet and AI. The current call for "workstyle reform"is rooted in many people feeling a distortion in the current company structure and wanting to make a change. In the future, it may become commonplace that going to the office is a right rather than an obligation, that people can contribute to work without hesitation for a few hours while raising children, or that companies exist without the concept of a boss but still make a substantial profit.
Now, the first service that Rimo created is this AI transcription. We started working on it because we wanted to solve the problem of reduced communication and information transfer difficulties that occur with remote work and side jobs. There may be various reasons why you want to transcribe conversations, but fundamentally, it is because you want to correctly record information born from conversations and convey it to more people. Although there are still areas for improvement in terms of accuracy and usability, I would be delighted if you could try it out and provide warm feedback.
