Rimo is an organization that aims to develop and provide tools and services to support people who work part-time and remotely, with the theme of "Working for the Future."
The working styles that we now take for granted, such as working hours, locations, and evaluations, were all established after World War II. They have a short history of less than a century and are not universal; on the other hand, they are outdated systems formed in an era without the internet or AI. The current outcry for "work style reform" stems from a fundamental feeling among many that there are distortions in the way companies operate today, and a desire for change. For example, in the future, it may be normal for going to the office to be a right rather than an obligation, for people to contribute to work without hesitation during the few hours they have while raising children, or for companies without the concept of a boss to be sufficiently profitable.
Now, the first service that Rimo created is this AI transcription tool. We started this initiative because we wanted to solve the problem of reduced communication and information transmission issues that inevitably arise when working remotely or in part-time jobs. There may be various reasons why you want to transcribe, but fundamentally, I believe it stems from the desire to "accurately record information generated through conversation and communicate it to more people." While we may still have areas to improve in terms of accuracy and usability, we would be delighted if you could try it out and provide us with warm feedback.
