About us
Rimo's goal is to develop and provide tools and services that support remote work and side jobs, with a focus on people who work remotely.
The way we work, such as working hours, location, and evaluation, which we take for granted now, are all relatively new and were established after World War II. On the other hand, they are also old-fashioned things that were formed in a time without the internet and AI. "Workstyle reform"is currently being vocally called for, and this is because many people feel a distortion in the way their current companies operate and want to change something. For example, in the future, going to the office may not be an obligation but a right, being able to contribute to work with just a few hours of free time while raising children, or a company without the concept of a boss being the norm and still being profitable.
Now, the first service Rimo created is this AI transcription. We started working on this because we wanted to solve the problem of limited communication and information dissemination that often occurs with remote work and side jobs. The reasons why everyone wants to transcribe text may vary, but I believe it stems from the desire to accurately record and convey information born through conversations to more people. There are still areas where accuracy and usability can be improved, but I would be happy to receive warm feedback from those who try it out.
